6 par. 1 lett. f).
4. Trasferimenti all'estero
- Statistiche: solo dati aggregati, senza dati personali.
6. Minori
7. I tuoi diritti
Privacy policy
Updated 2 November 2026
This page explains which personal data I process when you visit valerioswiss.com or use my services, why, and what your rights are. Swiss data protection law (nFADP) applies and, for people living in the European Union, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Controller
Valerio Santoni, Chemin du Docteur-Jean-Louis-Prévost 4, 1202 Geneva (Genève), Switzerland · ciao@valerioswiss.com. This website is a personal project.
2. What data I process and why
- Contact form: name, email and message, only to reply to you. The form is sent through FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), which forwards the message to my email inbox (Gmail, Google).
- Browsing: the site is hosted on GitHub Pages (GitHub), which may log technical data such as IP address and browser type for security. Fonts are hosted on the site itself: they are not requested from external services such as Google Fonts.
- Anonymous, cookie-free statistics: to see which pages are useful I use Cloudflare Web Analytics (Cloudflare, Inc., United States), an analytics service that uses no cookies, stores nothing in your browser and does not use your IP address or any other data to recognise you or follow you across sites. It records in aggregate form the page visited, the site you came from, browser, operating system, device type, country and page load times. You can block it with a regular ad blocker.
- No profiling cookies, so no banner: the site uses no tracking cookies and no advertising. It only stores in your browser (localStorage) your language, light or dark theme and checklist ticks: they stay on your device and you can clear them in your browser settings.
- One technical cookie, only on the call page: the Cal.com calendar embedded in /negozio/call may set Cloudflare's
__cf_bmcookie, which protects the booking from bots and expires after about 30 minutes. It is only needed for the calendar to work, does not track you and is not used for statistics or advertising, so no consent is required. If you prefer, you can book directly on cal.com through the link below the calendar. - Free tools: the calculators, checklist and prompt generator run in your browser. The data you enter is not sent to me or to anyone else.
- Free guide: you sign up through the form on the site; your name and email go to MailerLite (MailerLite UAB, Lithuania), which sends you the guide and the emails that follow.
- Purchases and bookings: the CV Pack is paid with Stripe through Link (Stripe Payments Europe, Ireland; for this product the merchant of record is Link, which handles payment and VAT), the CV review with Stripe, and the call is booked and paid on Cal.com (Cal.com, Inc., United States), which collects payment through Stripe. I receive your name, email, amount, country and the answers you give when buying or booking (for example the link to your CV), and use them only to deliver the product and prepare the call; I never see your card details. The CV Pack files are downloaded from Google Drive. Purchases made on Stan (stan.store) until 9 November 2026 are also covered by Stan's privacy policy.
- Call and CV review: to prepare and deliver them I use your CV, your LinkedIn profile and the answers you send me, plus my notes. The call takes place on Google Meet. If I use Meet's automatic notes (Gemini, Google) for the written summary, I tell you before the call and you can ask me not to. Emails go through Gmail and appointments through Google Calendar.
- AI assistant: to prepare the call, the CV review and the written summary I work with Claude (Anthropic), which processes the texts you sent me. I check and write every document you receive.
- Where files are kept: client notes are on my computer, synced with iCloud (Apple), and in my Google account.
- Email: if you agree when downloading or buying, I may email you about work and life in Switzerland. Emails are sent through MailerLite (MailerLite UAB, Lithuania) or, for purchases made on Stan until 9 November 2026, through Stan, and each one has a one-click unsubscribe link.
- Automatic Instagram messages: if you comment a keyword (for example GUIDA), you get an automatic message through Stan (until 9 November 2026): Stan and Meta see your username and the message.
- Telegram channel: it is public. Telegram shows admins the public name of people who join: I do not use it for anything else.
- Social media and external links: Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Linktree and other linked sites have their own privacy policies.
3. Legal bases
I process data to answer your requests and provide the services you ask for (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)), with your consent for informational emails (art. 6(1)(a)) and on the basis of my legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and in anonymous visit statistics (art. 6(1)(f)).
4. Transfers abroad
Some providers (GitHub, Google, FormSubmit, Cloudflare, Stripe, Cal.com, Stan, Anthropic, Apple, Meta, Telegram) are based or host data outside Switzerland and the EU, in particular in the United States. Transfers rely on the safeguards described in their policies, such as the Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
5. How long
- Contact form messages: 12 months from the last reply.
- Data of people who book a call or a review (CV, answers, notes, written summary): 12 months after the last service, then deleted.
- Receipts and accounting records: 10 years, as Swiss law requires (art. 958f of the Code of Obligations).
- Email subscription: until you unsubscribe.
- Statistics: aggregate data only, no personal data.
6. Children
The services are meant for adults. People under 16 cannot subscribe to emails or book or buy on their own. If I find I hold data of a minor without parental consent, I delete it.
7. Your rights
You can ask at any time to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your data, object to its processing or receive it in a readable format by writing to ciao@valerioswiss.com. You can also contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or the authority in your EU country.
To have your data deleted write to ciao@valerioswiss.com with the subject "Data deletion". I reply within 30 days (usually much sooner), delete the data from every service I use (Stan, email, Google, client files) and confirm what I deleted. Only the receipts the law requires me to keep remain.
8. Security
The site runs on HTTPS only, has no password-protected areas and restricts where scripts and connections can come from. The accounts that hold client data are protected and accessed only by me.
9. Changes
If I change this policy, I update the date at the top.
